Synopsis
PhotoDOC is a photo documentary project with an original format: short films based on the collaboration between a filmmaker and a photographer. For the three films in the EXODUS: Mass Migration and its Ripple Effect in the Americas, Italian photographer Nicolò Filippo Rosso talks to Spanish producer/director Jose Muniain about the work he has carried out over the past four years, traveling along the migratory routes that cross the American continent to document the distress and violence surrounding the exodus of the peoples of Latin America.
In this third and final chapter, Venezuelan’s Escape to Colombia, Nicolò Filippo Rosso turns his attention to Venezuela, where the economic crisis has led to whole families taking to the migratory routes, particularly to Colombia.
