Synopsis
From atop a slag heap, a curious character with a large head contemplates the landscape. On a rutted secondary road glistening in the rain, a procession of majorettes suddenly materializes. A brass band marching through deserted streets. The Parade takes us to meet the proud inhabitants of the Hauts-de-France region, driven by a passion passed down through generations. Combining still shots, moving pictures, and remarkable sound work, this documentary brings rend sensible a living popular culture.
