Michael Ackerman was born in Tel Aviv (Israel) in 1967. He spent his childhood and youth in the USA, where his family emigrated in 1974. He is a member of the Vu' Agency and now lives in Berlin. His work is exhibited in numerous galleries and features in the collection of the Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris.
