Born in Tunis, Sophie Bramly pursued her passion for graphic arts at the esteemed Penninghen School in Paris. A serendipitous trip to New York saw her transition into an independent photographer, capturing the nascent hip-hop movement in the Bronx. This experience positioned her as France's pioneering rap journalist.
Bramly's influence extended across the continent when she founded MTV Europe, introducing the music video phenomenon to European audiences. Her multifaceted career also saw her excel as a television producer, a marketing director in the music industry, and in 2006, the visionary behind 'secondsexe.com', a digital platform dedicated to female pleasure.
Beyond her entrepreneurial ventures, Bramly is also recognised for her contributions as a documentary filmmaker.
