Frédéric Fontenoy
Photographer
Born in 1963, Frédéric Fontenoy has, since his earliest series, delved deep into the representation of the human body, viewing the act of photography as an intrinsic artistic endeavor. With "Métamorphose" in 1988, he began to challenge the medium's inherent reference to reality, drawing inspiration from the distortions of André Kertesz and the provocative "Anatomy of the Image" by Hans Bellmer.
