Kamy Pakdel is a publishing art director. Born in Teheran, he left his homeland at the age of 10. A friend of photographer Abbas, in 2002 he published Iran-Diary, a landmark book on the Iranian revolution featuring Abbas's photos. In 2018, he began to work on his first documentary film, Abbas by Abbas, a portrait-testament of the photographer.
